Pay Scale: Grade 6 SCP 18 – 22 £25,419 – £27,514
Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time + 5 days
We are looking for a successful, highly organised individual with a professional approach to work, under the direction of the Senior Leadership Team, to play a pivotal role in raising school attendance at Ernulf Academy. You will ensure all efforts are made to remove barriers to attendance and encourage a positive and independent attitude to learning. The position involves working closely with families and students, so we are looking for an individual with robust communication skills and a strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
You will be responsible for inputting data, producing reports and analysis. Implementation of school systems and procedures in line with school attendance policies, manage the referral systems and outside agencies, be responsible for all attendance enquiries and work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead. In addition, you will be responsible for pupil lifecycle from admission to transition during their time at Ernulf Academy.
Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a school and knowledge of schools systems. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of working with students, parents and carers, evidencing any relevant responsibilities and processes that you may have previously implemented.
