What is Sparx Reader?

Sparx Reader helps every student to read regularly, which is vital for building literacy skills.​

How do scholars log in?

Scholars will use their Single Sign On (SSO) for Sparx Reader. This means that the only username and password that they will need to remember is their Ernulf Academy login (E.G. E9405@astreaernulf.org and password). Scholars should go to the Sparx Reader website – https://sparxreader.com/ and click the ‘login’ button at the top right of the page. When they reach the login page, there is a big blue button which is labelled ‘Login to Sparx using Microsoft’. They can then use their Ernulf Microsoft Account to login.

How do scholars complete their home learning?

Scholars choose from a range of eBooks at their level. ​ As they read, they answer questions and earn Sparx Reader Points (SRP) for reading carefully. These points will complete their homework task.​

 

What is Gold Reader?

Careful, motivated readers can gain access to Gold Reader. ​ Gold Readers can read any paper book by scanning in its barcode.​
