Ernulf Academy is on an exciting journey of growth and progression.
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant at Ernulf Academy to support the learning, social, and emotional needs of students across the curriculum in this 11-16 Academy. The successful candidates will have initiative, enthusiasm and patience and have experience of supporting students with a wide range of SEN needs. A particular interest and strength in mathematics would be an advantage.
The successful candidates will need to be flexible as they will be called on to support students with SEN needs across the curriculum, including students with behavioural issues. As a Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will contribute directly to the leadership and management of Learning Support under the direction of the SENCO and be proactive and have the ability to work using their own initiative. Any experience in the area of maths, speech, language and communication would be desired, as well as any experience with social skills, group work and social stories.
