I would like to thank you all for your patience over the last few weeks in regards to the new Ernulf uniform and how and when this would be implemented. Our aim as a school is always to ensure we try to do what is best for our students and parents – so that all feel part of our learning community.
I am therefore delighted to inform you the Astrea Academy Trust will ensure that all existing students will be issued with a new blazer, jumper and tie in line with the new uniform; this would represent a saving of over £60 for a senior student. I hope you can understand and appreciate why it has taken until now to be able to confirm with you all the uniform arrangements for the start of our new academic term in September 2019. Please follow the link HERE to view our new uniform.
Before the end of this term all students will be measured for the blazer, tie and jumper, we will place a bulk order for these items and the delivery date will be communicated to parents/carers at a later date. Our partners at SWI have assured me that the remainder of the uniform items (PE kits, trousers and skirts) will be available to order online by the end of the day.
I strongly believe that making the new uniform available to all of our existing students demonstrates our commitment to ensure that we start our new academic term as we mean to go on – unified behind the Astrea core principles.
A copy of the order form and for the additional items, including the sports kit can be found HERE. Please note that items purchased from our supplier will normally avoid any instances where students have to be challenged by staff about their uniform. I would, therefore, strongly advise that all uniform items are purchased from our supplier, wherever possible.
Please note that the Academy blazer, jumper and tie will be made live on our supplier’s website from the end of July.
Financial assistance for help with buying items of school uniform is available to parents of children who attract additional funding through Pupil Premium. Please contact our Finance department if you require assistance, they are contactable at email@example.com and on 01480 374748.
We would also like to remind parents that all uniform should be named if we are to reunite students with any missing garments.
