Homework Year 7 and Year 8
In morning registration, you will be expected to have your Knowledge Organiser and Homework Book on your desk and open – tutors will check – and note non-completion / missing equipment (C2 detention).
Years 7 and 8 do their homework in the homework book using the knowledge organiser.
Check your homework timetable. It will tell you:
Which two subjects you are doing this evening.
Use a double page of the homework book– subject 1 on the left and subject 2 on the right.
Make sure you write the date, subject and title of your homework at the top of the page.
Fridays are double maths – use a double page – the tasks will be set for you on the “sparx” website.

Top tips for successful homework:
Avoid copying from the knowledge organiser. Instead….using the knowledge organiser, read, cover, retrieve key information and then check your answers.
Really important…..Add any missed information in a different colour pen to show where the gaps in your knowledge are.
