We are excited to announce that, thanks to the kindness of a local plant centre, our eco-committee is now equipped with an assortment of stunning flowers ready to be planted around the academy. These blooms will not only enhance the aesthetic of our environment but also contribute to biodiversity and provide habitats for our local wildlife.
We have spoken before about our dedicated Operations Assistant, Miss Robson, who has kindly chosen to contribute her life insurance grant towards tools and additional plants for the eco-committee. This funding has already made a significant impact, allowing us to purchase essential gardening tools and equipment, including a water collection system that enables us to harvest rainwater for our plants throughout the academy. This support underlines the commitment of our academy to adopt a culture of environmental responsibility. With every contribution, whether big or small, we are taking significant steps toward a sustainable future and encouraging our students to develop a deeper awareness of our community.
As our eco-committee gears up for the planting day, we can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
